She is a certified provider for Clear Correct Teeth Straightening as well as 6 Month Smiles Adult Orthodontics. A Connecticut native, Dr. Patel has been practicing in the area for over 10 years. She has completed hundreds of hours of advanced cosmetic training and is dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry.
Michael A. Christian, DMD, FACP - Prosthodontist
Dr. Michael Christian is a Board Certified Prosthodontist specializing in the replacement of missing teeth. A native of Connecticut, Dr. Christian received his Doctoral degree from the UConn School of Dental Medicine, then completed a three-year specialty prosthodontics residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received formal training in the surgical placement and the prosthetic restoration of dental implants, in addition to full mouth reconstruction, traditional crowns, veneers, dentures, fillings, cosmetic procedures, extractions, and all other aspects of restorative and general dentistry. Dr. Christian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow in the American college of Prosthodontics, and holds memberships in the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Litchfield County Dental Society, and Hartford Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. Christian enjoys skiing, music, trying new restaurants, traveling with his wife Arabella, and spending time with their new daughter Poeta.
Dr. Ghazal Khashayar
Dr. Patel and her team at Stamford Dental Spa are excited to welcome Dr. Ghazal Khashayar to the practice. Dr. Khashayar graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she received her DMD degree. She first graduated from dental school in 2007 from the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands, where she was a licensed general dentist in the European Union. Since then, she has spent half her time in private practice and the other half in academia. Dr. Khashayar has published several articles and has lectured internationally on esthetics and color science in dentistry as part of her PhD. She has taught dental students at Harvard, and at the Academic Center for Dentistry in Amsterdam, as a clinical instructor at the departments of Dental Materials and Restorative Dentistry. As of September 2016, she will also be teaching at NYU as adjunct associate professor at the department of Prosthodontics.
